Altai Capital’s Online Privacy Policy applies to the personal information that we collect from or about you via this website (“Site”). By using this Site, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your nonpublic personal information and other personal information in accordance with this Online Privacy Policy.

Altai Capital may collect information about your activity on this Site by use of technologies such as cookies, web beacons, and server log files.  We do this to improve the functioning of the Site and to better understand and serve our customers and visitors. Although the Site is not designed to collect personal information, Altai Capital may collect any information you send to us through Site.  Altai Capital may also collect nonpublic personal information about current and prospective investors from the following sources: (i) information we receive from current and prospective investors on managed account agreements or subscription documents and related forms (for example, name, address, social security number, birth date, assets, income, investment experience); (ii) information about investor’s transactions with Altai Capital; and (iii) third party sources.  We restrict access of current, former and prospective investors’ nonpublic personal information to our affiliates and their personnel, counsel and auditors who need to know that information in order to (i) ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, (ii) provide products or services to the investors, (iii) as otherwise required by law, and (iv) as otherwise described in this policy.

Nonpublic personal information is not shared with third-parties for their marketing purposes.

How We Share Your Information

The information we collect will not be shared or disclosed to individuals outside of Altai Capital and our service providers unless required or permitted by law.

When we do collect nonpublic personal information, we will use that information only for our reasonable business purposes, as described in this policy.  We transfer, disclose or share your nonpublic personal information to third parties who are engaged by us specifically to provide certain functionality, including, but not limited to, customer relationship management and marketing.

Rights under California Law

California’s “Shine the Light” law permits California residents to annually request and obtain information free of charge about what personal information is disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year.  Altai Capital does not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent for their direct marketing, or any other purpose, except as provided for in this Online Privacy Policy.

Children’s Personal Information

Our website is not directed to children under the age of thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen.  If we discover that we inadvertently collected information from a child under the age of thirteen, we will promptly delete it.

Our Rights to Change the Site

Any changes to our Online Privacy Policy will be prominently posted on this page, and any updates will be reflected with a new “Effective Date.” By continuing to use this Site after we post any changes, you accept the Online Privacy Policy as modified. This Site is governed by the law of the State of California and is intended for use by individuals in the United States only.  Please do not access this Site or provide personal information through the Site if you are not located in the United States.
